Marty Moseley
Marty Moseley brings over 19 years of municipal service and 17 years as a certified NY State Code Enforcement(Building) Official to his role in the Town of Ithaca. He leads efforts to enforce building, fire, and zoning codes, ensuring public safety and efficient development. Under his leadership, the town transitioned to a digital permitting system, streamlining operations and improving service delivery.
Marty is a statewide leader in code enforcement, serving as Immediate Past President and current Legislative Committee Chair of the NY State Building Officials Conference (NYSBOC). Marty currently serves as the Vice Chair to ICC Region VI and is involved in their code development committee. His advocacy work includes engaging with legislative processes to ensure that the perspectives and expertise of code officials are integrated into state policy decisions.
Marty believes in the importance of collaboration among code/building officials to promote a culture of cooperation and shared knowledge. His expertise is further recognized as he serves on multiple advisory committees, including the Tompkins Cortland Community College Construction and Environmental Technology Degree Program and the ICC Existing Building Code Committee.
He is passionate about community service and public safety. He and his team have volunteered to assist other jurisdictions, showcasing his commitment to extending service beyond their immediate jurisdiction
A passionate advocate for education and community service, Marty mentors’ students, leads regional training programs, and volunteers in chapters events. He has received national recognition, including the ICC Building Safety Leadership Experience award.

Financial contributions may be made through ICC Region VI, which has agreed to manage campaign donations on behalf of candidates, including myself. These funds will provide items such as but not limited to leaflets, posters, tripods, buttons or handouts, reimbursement for travel, etc.
